About This Policy

Southside Foot Clinic, P.C. (“Southside Foot Clinic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website located at southsidefootclinic.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This policy covers the Site only. It does not cover the medical records or other protected health information we create and maintain when you become a patient. That information is governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and is described in our separate Notice of Privacy Practices, which is available at our office at 33 E County Line Road, Suite B, Greenwood, IN 46143, or by calling (317) 882-9303.

Please do not use the Site’s contact or appointment request forms to send detailed medical information, such as symptoms, diagnoses, test results, or insurance member numbers. If you need to share that information, call our office and our staff will help you directly.

Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a contact form, request an appointment, sign up for updates, or email us through the Site, we collect what you enter. This usually includes your name, phone number, email address, preferred appointment time, and a short note about why you are reaching out.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, our servers and the tools described below record standard technical details. These include your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, how long you stay on each page, the site or ad that brought you here, and the date and time of your visit.

Information from third parties. If you reach us through a Google or Facebook ad, those platforms may tell us that a visit or form submission came from a particular campaign. We receive this as campaign-level reporting, not as a profile of you.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Tools

Cookies are small files stored in your browser that help a website remember your visit. The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:

  • Site operation: keeping pages loading correctly and forms working.

  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site, such as which pages are viewed most. Google’s use of this data is described in its privacy policy, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

  • Advertising measurement: we run ads on Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Their tags let us see whether an ad led to a visit, call, or form submission, and may be used to show our ads to people who have visited the Site.

We configure these tools so they do not receive the contents of form fields, and we do not knowingly share health information with advertising platforms. You can manage ad personalization in your Google Ad Settings and your Meta ad preferences, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site work.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected through the Site to respond to your questions, schedule or confirm appointments, send updates you have asked for, improve the Site’s content and layout, and measure whether our advertising is reaching people in and around Greenwood. We do not sell your personal information.

How We Share Your Information

We share Site information only in these situations:

  • Service providers that help us run the Site and our office, such as our website host, form and scheduling software, email provider, analytics provider, and marketing agency. They may use the information only to provide services to us.

  • Legal requirements, when disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is needed to protect the rights, safety, or property of our patients, staff, or others.

  • Business changes, if Southside Foot Clinic is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case Site information may transfer as part of that transaction.

If you become a patient, any information you provide as part of your care is handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices, not this policy.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information submitted through the Site, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No website or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information you send to us online.

Your Choices

You can ask us to update or delete the contact information you submitted through the Site, or stop sending you emails, by calling or writing to us at the address below. Every marketing email we send also includes an unsubscribe link.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. Parents or guardians scheduling care for a child should call our office directly.

Links to Other Websites

The Site may link to websites we do not control, such as insurance carriers, patient education resources, or social media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continuing to use the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
