Your body has a remarkable ability to heal itself. Regenerative medicine uses that biology, concentrating your own growth factors or applying advanced biologics, to accelerate recovery, reduce inflammation, and help damaged tissue repair without surgery.
If you've been told your only options are cortisone or the operating room, there may be a third path.
Tenex uses ultrasonic energy to precisely break down damaged, scarred, or calcified tendon tissue while preserving surrounding healthy tissue. It's minimally invasive, performed through a small incision with local anesthesia, and patients typically return to normal activity within weeks, not months. Ideal for chronic plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, and other soft-tissue conditions that haven't responded to conservative treatment.
Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy uses a concentrated sample of your own blood platelets, packed with growth factors, and injects them directly into the injured tissue. This accelerates your body's natural healing response. Commonly used for plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon injuries, and chronic foot pain that hasn't responded to other treatments. PRP is coming soon to Southside Foot Clinic and is not currently offered.
Peptide therapies use specific amino acid chains that signal your body to increase its healing and repair processes. These can be administered in-office or through direct-ship programs, depending on the protocol. Particularly effective for patients with chronic inflammation, neuropathy, or slow-healing injuries.
Amniotic tissue contains a rich concentration of growth factors, cytokines, and extracellular matrix proteins that support tissue repair and reduce inflammation. These biologics are ethically sourced from consenting donors after planned cesarean deliveries and are applied directly to the treatment site to promote healing.

Board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon. Specializes in Lapiplasty 3D bunion correction, Tenex ultrasonic therapy, advanced wart treatment, and regenerative medicine.
Double board-certified with specialty expertise in rear foot and ankle reconstruction and pediatric podiatric care.
Residency-trained podiatric physician providing compassionate, patient-centered foot and ankle care. A Greenwood native, Dr. Hoy is proud to serve her hometown community and care for patients of all ages.
